The Public Outreach Committee is responsible for the Group’s informational and educational programs. The committee requirements and goals are:
- Recommend an information and education component (e.g., educational programs, outlets, and opportunities) to be used to enhance public understanding of the project and encourage their early and continued participation.
- Recommend metrics of success
- Inventory existing public outreach information and programs
- Consolidate the public outreach efforts and identify efficiencies
- Identify and use emerging technologies (e.g. twitter)
- Develop website content
- Market specifically for RRWQG
- Long term
- Identify funding sources for public outreach efforts
- Implement Huff Creek 319 Grant education component
