Public Outreach

The Public Outreach Committee is responsible for the Group’s informational and educational programs. The committee requirements and goals are:

  • Recommend an information and education component (e.g., educational programs, outlets, and opportunities) to be used to enhance public understanding of the project and encourage their early and continued participation.
  • Recommend metrics of success
  • Inventory existing public outreach information and programs
  • Consolidate the public outreach efforts and identify efficiencies
  • Identify and use emerging technologies (e.g. twitter)
  • Develop website content
  • Market specifically for RRWQG
  • Long term
  • Identify funding sources for public outreach efforts
  • Implement Huff Creek 319 Grant education component
