The Public Outreach Committee is responsible for the Group’s informational and educational programs. The committee requirements and goals are:
- Inventory existing public outreach information and programs
- Consolidate the public outreach efforts and identify efficiencies
- Identify and use emerging communication technologies
- Develop website content to support the Group in the long term
- Identify funding sources for public outreach efforts
- Assist in implementation of Huff Creek 319 Grant education component
- Recommend and implement information and education components (e.g., educational programs, outlets, and opportunities) to enhance public understanding of the project and encourage their early and continued participation.
