Friends of the Reedy/YMCA project planned for Cleveland Street. The idea has been percolating since last year, when the Friends of the Reedy River decided to adopt a stretch of the waterway that flows behind the YMCA’s campus on Cleveland Street.

A Clean Reedy River

It’s the goal of the Reedy River Water Quality Group.
The Mission
We will work together to protect, preserve and improve water quality in the Reedy River through a plan to reduce E. coli, nitrogen, and phosphorus levels in the river.
Strategies
RRWQG will evaluate and promote strategies to reduce contaminant loads from our watershed, and create conditions that support living resources and protect human health.
